The
unexpected quietness of the Sonata Pro
-
This helps you gain control over your concentration and
therefore trade better. The Sonata's P182 case has
three-layer sides and front door that blocks sound. The
hard disk drives and even the bottom of the computer are
on vibration free silicone which dramatically helps. It
uses nearly silent 120mm case fans instead of the noisy
80mm fans that most computers have.
Since the Sonata Pro is built with much better
components, you have a computer that you can trust.
For example, our motherboard has much more resources to
handle three video cards that can support up to 12
monitors. Other motherboards can't handle it. The
quality and reliability of our parts is in most cases
superior to other computers. It is very rare that you
would have a service call with the Sonata. Take a look
at what's in the Sonata:
• Intel Core i7 Quad-Core L2 Cache 4 x 256KB, L3 Cache
8MB
• x58 Motherboard with the fastest chipset
• 10/100/1000 Gigabit Ethernet port for fast internet
speed.
• South Bridge Intel ICH10R
• Super Fast DDR3 1333 Triple Channel (3 - 1gb modules)
to speed your trading
• 8 USB 2.0 ports in back and 2 in the front.
• 3 PCIE-x slots for video card expansion.
• Uses the fastest SATA II ports supporting 3 Gbps hard
drives.
• 250GB or 500GB SATA Enterprise 2.0 Hard disk Drive
32MB of Cache technology.
• Fastest 22X SATA drive for speed.
• Nvidia software for the best multiple monitor
management up to 12 monitors.
• NVS 450, 290 or GeForce 9600GT video cards for the
most power.
• Two front mobile drive racks which allows you
do use Acronis to do an image drive for
safe keeping and
a data drive for daily backups if you wish.

This is the only trading computer available that has 3
Full Pcie-X slots
that enables you to use 3 double wide GeForce
powerful video cards. See the blue slots below.

Sonata i7 - The Fastest Trading Computer on Planet Earth
It can easily be overclocked. Speed increases
can vary based on
video cards, memory speed, CPU coolers and installed
programs.

The Sonata cools better and therefore lasts
longer.
We use large 120mm nearly silent case
fans. They effectively cool the hard drives, power supply,
motherboard, CPU and memory and video cards with little
noise. Our memory has it's own heat sinks to
cool them preventing failures. The case even has air filters to keep the unit clean. Others usually
have no filters. The computer has cabling management to
reduce clutter. An optional V8 Heatpipe cooler gives
unsurpassed CPU cooling performance and is nearly
silent.

Speak direct when you call. With other
companies that make computers you will end up speaking
with sales people who don't know anything about what you
need in a trading computer. We have the professional
experience of how our computers will perform with
trading applications. Only we will allow you to speak
directly to the people who design and configure the
computer. When people are asked why they are buying a
Sonata Trading Computer from Traders World...the main
answer is that "They are getting a computer specifically
designed for trading with the performance necessary to
be successful."
Experience, Quality and Expertise Every
component inside a Sonata Trading Computer has been
proven the most powerful part by reviews in the computer
industry. It's nice to know that your are getting the
superior performance of a trading computer before you
buy it. A computer is 60% hardware, 20% optimization and
20% customer service. When you buy the Sonata Trading
Computer you are getting the best craftsmanship,
excellent computing performance and the best service.
Many systems on the market might seem to be similar, but
they are not. The Sonata Trading Computer is set above
in quality by using only the best components available.
The Sonata Trading Computer is the ultimate in a trading
machine. The only low noise trading computer. We have
the experience building trading computers since 1986!
The Sonata is specifically designed for use with
multiple digital flat panel monitors. These
monitors can be setup with our desk stands to enhance
your viewing. It is easy to see all your quotes, charts
and news on the multiple screens. All of our computers
and monitors use DVI connections. Not the analog
connections many computers use. DVI is the best way to
go for a trader. They produce sharp and clear monitor
screens and are the best for your eyes.
21-day Money Back Guarantee. If you are
not completely satisfied with your system simple ship it
back to us within 21 days and we will refund your cost
of the computer. Since we started selling computers we
have very few returned. That's because every system is
designed for trading to be run day in and day out. There
is not any other computer company that takes the effort
we do in building the quality in their trading computer.
You will never find any trading computer that runs
better, looks better or feels better than the Sonata
Trading Computer.
Upgrade Program. You can also return
your computer every 2-3 years and we will upgrade it to
the latest technology for usually 1/2 the price of a new
one. Why throw away a high quality computer like the
Sonata when it gets out-of-date? We usually just need to
replace the motherboard, CPU and memory.
Upgrade Your Current Trading Computer with our
Barebone Black Box.

trading computer from another company that
has good hard drives and video cards (Nvidia or ATI) and
it just has an out-of-date motherboard, power supply,
memory and
CPU, you can easily upgrade it to the Sonata i7 Barebone.
You can take your video cards and Sata Hard disk drives out of
your old computer and use them in the new Sonata i7. It

What is the difference between the Intel i7 and the Core
2 Duo?
The Core i7 is a brand new architecture which is much
much faster and more efficient than the Core 2 Duo. As
soon as the i7 came out we stopped producing the Core 2
Duo Trading Computers. Those that continue to sell the
Core 2 Duo Computers are selling out-of-date machines.
What's more they are now priced at the same price as the
Core 2 Duo computers. So why even sell the Core 2 Duo
computers over the i7 computers? The Core i7 is
available in the i7 920, 945 and 965. The i7 920
outperforms all Core 2 Duo processers.
I believe that the new i7 Sonata computers will run even
regular 32-bit programs such as eSignal, TradeStation
much faster. I would estimate maybe 35% faster. Then
when the new quad core programs come out such as
eSignal's version 10.3 they will run substantially
faster. Eventually all the trading program companies
will have to convert their software to quad processor
programs.
The Core i7 processors are basically native Quad cores.
That means that they have four cores on a single die.
Older Core 2 Duos have two cores on a single die. The i7
is much faster and any Duo Core because of this reason.
The i7 also have a 256 KM L2 cache per core and a shared
8MB L3 cache which is many times better than any cache
configuration in Core 2 Duo.
The i7 has HyperThreading and the Core 2 Duo does not
have this. In the i7 four cores can process two threads
simultaneously so that means you get eight cores. That
means running many applications like traders do will
help tremendously.
The Core i7 processors now have the new Quick Path
Interconnect technology which replaces the old slow
Front Side Bus. This really improves the overall
performance and should really help trading programs. The
Front Side Bus has always been the bottleneck in
computers and what slowed them down. Now it is gone.
The Core i7 has an on die memory controller which means
it can access memory much faster than the Core Duo
processors. This also helps to improve the speed
performance of trading programs.
The new Core i7 has work with Intel's newest x58 chipset
motherboards and they have superb features like PCI
Express 2.0 helping multiple monitor trading situations
where multiple video cards are used. The new DDR3 memory
on these motherboards is also much faster than the DDR2
memory on previous boards.
The Core i7 is now king in Trading Computers. The Core
i7 beats every other processor by a large degree and
should be the only consideration for a serious trader in
today's rapidly moving markets.
